Class 2 Driver

GXO Logistics is offering a rare opportunity to join our professional driving team, working on behalf of Mitsubishi Electric – a global leader in energy-efficient technology.

 

Based out of Milton Keynes, you'll be delivering palletised goods to commercial customers across the region. Expect a great working environment, a supportive team, and consistent start times.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role with a rare and highly sought-after Monday to Friday schedule, with early start times between 04:00 and 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Delivering palletised goods to customers on behalf of Mitsubishi Electric
  • Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Using our in-house track & trace system to confirm deliveries
  • Conducting start / end circle checks as per company procedure guaranteeing that the vehicle is kept clean, fuelled and legal at all time
  • Performing vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A valid Class 2 licence with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • A strong understanding of road safety and vehicle compliance
  • A team player with a professional attitude and excellent timekeeping
