Inventory Controller

Here at GXO Magna Park, Milton Keynes, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Controller to join our team, working in partnership with Waitrose. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock across the site. You’ll be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining system records to support smooth warehouse operations.
This role is a full-time, permanent contract, working on an ‘any 5 out of 7’ pattern, with rotating shift: 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Managing cycle counts by checking stock levels are accurate in each storage location
- Actively freeing up storage locations by consolidating items from multiple areas into one location
- Ensuring items that have been miss-picked, dropped or restored are put away in the correct area
- Maintaining stock accuracy and integrity, minimising stock loss though investigations and resolution of errors
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Understanding of the stock control process, experience of stock control within a warehousing environment would be highly beneficial
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
