Project Manager

Here at GXO, Inteq we’re are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead on oversight and management of projects within Inteq. This position requires coordination with multiple departments to ensure the successful deployment of software and automation solutions.

 

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract, which could lead to a permeant role, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, in a hybrid working model. You will need to be able to commute to Milton Keynes at least 1 day per week

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme and private medical cover

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT projects related to logistics and warehouse management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Ensure that vendors meet project requirements and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including logistics, warehouse, IT, and other relevant departments, to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal teams and third‑party providers to resolve issues, oversee testing plans, and manage change requests

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • IT Project management experience, ideally within automated warehouse solutions or a similar industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering IT system projects.
