Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

As the Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking loads for all modes of transportation, while delivering a positive experience to our customers. The hourly pay rate for this is $24. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New Jersey. This rate may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for hourly shift differential. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Schedule delivery appointments

Perform freight tendering/carrier selection (with use of routing guide)

Monitor carrier performance and compliance issues

Perform data entry, complete track, and trace duties

Provide freight pay and claims resolution
Large amount of customer interface

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Experience with Microsoft Office

Excellent customer service skills
Strong email and verbal communication skills
WMS systems knowledge

It’d be great if you also have:

High school diploma or equivalent

Professional work experience

The ability to work several sides of an issue to achieve resolution, including carrier, supplier, freight pay and internal customers

Solid attention to detail
