We are looking for a Stock Control Manager at our site in Mossend. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy across our Mossend Distribution Centre and wider Scottish depot network. Acting as the central point of control for inventory across seven depots, you'll drive consistency, resolve stock issues, and help maintain a seamless operation from warehouse to customer.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:30 – 16:30, with some flexibility required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Maintain stock accuracy and integrity across the Mossend Distribution Centre and wider Scottish depot network
- Lead stock control activities, including stock checks, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations
- Act as the key point of contact for stock-related queries, providing support and guidance across 7 depots
- Produce accurate stock reporting and ensure consistent stock processes and standards are followed across the network
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of SOPs to enhance stock accuracy and operational performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven stock control and previous management experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to build relationships across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel across the network
