We have a great opportunity as a Warehouse Team Leader at our shared user site for our popular, TNT contract. As a Team Leader, you will play an integral part in managing and motivating your team to ensure a smooth process within the Warehouse setting. You will also be responsible for the appraisal and coaching of your team, ensuring that they are supported throughout their shift and able to develop within the team.

 

This position is on a permanent, full-time basis and, if successful, you’ll work on an any 5 out of 7 shift pattern, covering the hours 08:00-16:30.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £27,500.00 per annum and 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Team management: developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You’ll actively manage your available resources, and utilise staff where possible  
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • IT literate and experience of WMS systems.
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams and colleagues to ensure excellent performance.
