Context & Job Purpose

The Analyst – Data Analytics is responsible for delivering high‑quality analytical insights and reporting solutions to support operational excellence across warehouse sites and profit centers. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing large and complex datasets to produce actionable insights that drive performance improvement across business verticals and geographies.

The position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting requirements, translate business challenges into analytical models, and support decision‑making through accurate, data‑driven insights. The analyst will also contribute to reporting automation, enhance data quality, and develop scalable reporting frameworks to strengthen KPI monitoring, labor productivity analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across GOSC.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets using established statistical methods to identify trends, variances, and performance patterns.
  • Develop efficient processes for collecting, structuring, and validating manual and system-generated data.
  • Engage with site leaders and operational teams to understand data-related challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that present insights in a clear and visually compelling manner.
  • Apply strong business acumen to contextualize data insights in line with operational and organizational objectives.
  • Lead presentations, review meetings, and discussions to communicate findings and recommendations professionally.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of data collection methodologies and reporting systems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives and recommend improvements as required.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advanced analytical techniques.
  • Demonstrate strong command over written and verbal communication in English.
  • Facilitate targeted discussions to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Work in flexible time slots as required (12 PM – 9 PM IST).

 

Experience and Qualification Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, Python, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings to non‑technical stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
  • Experience or familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (preferred).

 

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and analytical algorithms (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present insights confidently and professionally
