Context & Job Purpose

The role is responsible for supporting end‑to‑end financial consolidation and reporting activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial results. The position also plays a key role in managing financial systems, including system upgrades, data‑mapping validations, and master data governance across consolidation tools.

 

Key responsibilities

Financial Consolidation & Reporting

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation cycles.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Validate and reconcile intercompany transactions and eliminations.
  • Coordinate with global and regional finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.

Systems & Process Management

  • Support financial system upgrades, including data‑mapping validations and master data maintenance.
  • Work on projects related to tools such as Oracle, HFM, and other consolidation systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and streamline consolidation and reporting processes.

Compliance & Controls

  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain SOX control documentation.
  • Handle ad‑hoc requests from various stakeholders.

Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Experience with Oracle, HFM, or other consolidation tools (preferred).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; ability to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with global teams.

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in financial consolidation or accounting.
