Context & Job Purpose

At GXO Logistics, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve, enhance and adapt in an ever-changing marketplace. As the Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead the effective functioning of daily operations for the GXO Less-Than-Truckload talent acquisition specialist team to include assigning and balancing work, team member development, coaching. You will lead the recruitment processes and procedures to ensure company compliance with appropriate regulations and a great candidate hiring experience.

 

Key responsibilities

 

    • Lead activities of recruiting specialist team, including budget, scheduling, and employee relations
    • Handle the auditing of various recruiting related documents, systems & processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Provide superuser level support for SuccessFactors (Applicant Tracking System) and other HRIS Systems
    • Monitor and analyse team performance and provide statistical and performance feedback, coaching, corrective action and recognition to each team member. 
    • Promote positive employee engagement through regular, personal contact with employees resulting in a vibrant employee relations atmosphere
    • Responsible for the selection and onboarding of new team members.
    • Handle recruitment processes and procedures to ensure Company compliance related to Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Transportation and any related regulatory efforts

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of high-volume recruiting experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 

Skills Required

  • 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in Recruiting or Human Resources 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
