Senior Manager, Financial Systems

As the Senior Manager, Financial Systems, on our Order to Cash (OTC) Transformation team, you will be responsible for the overall strategy to establish finance system objectives and priorities pertaining to Power BI, Financial Planning Systems and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the entire OTC team. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead operational reporting development for GXO’s Americas and Asia Pacific (AMAPAC) OTC organization
  • Lead the development of specialized SQL to define and drive billable events for our customers
  • Execute and refine division improvement priority targets via defined “battle card” updates
  • Lead the team to maintain existing databases (primarily Access) while developing a strategy, approach and plan to migrate to uniform solutions in partnership with IT
  • Lead business-driven initiatives while advising and executing on new system implementations or current system enhancements
  • Champion automation, data warehousing, BI design and execution for
  • Directly and indirectly lead a team of experienced OTC professionals in all aspects of technology requirement gathering, development, testing and implementation
  • Design and lead to a transition roadmap to cloud from legacy on-prem storage solutions
  • Lead and develop solutions in Microsoft Applications such as Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
  • Coordinate with IT and other stakeholder groups to provide OTC business leadership for cross-functional systems implementations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree Management Information Systems, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of practical OTC systems experience
  • Leadership experience with a successful history of building and developing teams of business and technical professionals in a growth environment
  • Previous experience in a supply chain support environment
  • Experience developing business requirements a technology implementation strategy
  • Extensive experience with developing SQL utilizing multiple data sources
  • Experience utilizing and applying OTC activities within Oracle and Oracle Cloud
  • Experience developing and maintaining normalized databases, particularly in user-defined systems such as Microsoft Access
  • Significant experience (both use and development) in Microsoft applications (MS Office Suite, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI)
  • Practical experience defining requirements and leading automation initiatives (RPA, BRMS, etc.)

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 8 years of experience in a financial environment role, including management/supervisory experience
  • Lean Six Sigma or Lean experience
  • Green Belt Black Belt certification
  • MBA or master’s degree in Management Information Systems
  • Experience implementing Oracle Advanced Collections or similar ERP modules
  • Experience as an Order to Cash Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
