HR Advisor

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our Currys site in Newark. Partnering with operational teams across our network of sites in Newark, Bolton, Bristol, London Gateway and Stevenage. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering the people agenda, providing expert HR support, driving engagement, and helping to create a positive, high-performing culture across the contract.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Partner with operational managers on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, absence management and performance-related matters
- Support the delivery of the site's HR People Plan, helping to build a positive culture and drive colleague engagement initiatives
- Provide practical HR advice and coaching to managers, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures
- Support talent development activities including appraisals, succession planning, leadership development and training workshops
- Produce management information and support compliance with employment legislation, HR policies and payroll processes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment with exposure to a broad range of generalist HR activities
- Strong employee relations knowledge and confidence in advising and coaching line managers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while taking ownership of your workload
- CIPD qualified or willing to work towards a professional HR qualification
