We are currently recruiting for team leaders to support with the implementation and smooth running of our new contract based at Ollerton. You will be responsible for undertaking routine operational tasks, providing a strong focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality, driving the operational team to achieve daily targets for each shift.

 

This is a permanent, full-time position, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 7am to 7pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives, co-ordinating their activities to meet set objectives and take charge in the absence of the Shift Manager
  • Ensure that training and development requirements for Warehouse Operatives are regularly carried out
  • Identify and investigate warehouse operations and look to resolve any issue within a timely manner
  • Ensure correct processes are being adhered to across all departments, including Picking, Goods in, Packing, Dispatch and Loading and all systems are updated accordingly.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, from goods in, to despatch
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
