As Maintenance Technician II in the Services Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the operating equipment and performing necessary repairs while adhering to company standards and safety policies. This role is critical to providing our technicians with safe and reliable equipment which ensures they can deliver superior service to our customers. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Ensure Maintenance Tech IIs are following proper safety procedures and protocols
  • Prioritize shop work to the customers’ needs and make hybrid runs as required to keep them operational
  • Train Maintenance Tech IIs SOP’s and provide the shifts needed training when there is a process change
  • Manage administrative requirements of filing paperwork for each shift
  • Perform the tasks of shutting down machinery in an emergency
  • Conduct start-up meetings with the team including Safety discussions daily 
  • Follow specific SOPs for equipment gauges and controls set by our customer in servicing their equipment
  • Push/Pul 2000 lbs. carts of equipment sometimes in confined spaces
  • Effectively start up and shut off all equipment
  • Ability to utilize skilled coordination for elevated spaces on client’s site
  • Rebuild of equipment safety guards
  • Maintain proper cleanout of pits to prevent downstream environmental concerns
  • Install and perform components to equipment for secure seals to perform recirculating processes
  • Connect change outs and hose changes when required
  • Ability to maintain coordination for air tool usage for debris retrieval on elevated catwalk
  • Able to operate in extreme environmental conditions (cold, heat).
  • Perform overhead crane and hoist operations
  • Operate a walk behind lift to assist in table to floor placement of equipment trays
  • Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs. of components of parts from holding tray to worktable for servicing
  • Manage the process of manual, powered, and hydraulic breakdowns.
  • Calibrate equipment when needed for each part to be certified
  • Knowledge of load distribution and securing equipment for damage free travel
  • Inspect trucks completed before each trip
  • Provide maintenance support and repair on all equipment used in the Pack Shop 

 

Must Be Able To:

  • Pass Client Compliance Guidelines to enter the plant facility daily
  • Good driving record (needs to remain in good standing)
  • Pass all non-CDL DOT and GXO driver requirements
  • Pass yearly DOT Physicals
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating work shift (365-day 24/7 shop coverages)

 

Requirements:

  • 6 months of continuous 24ft Box Truck driving experience
  • 23 years old

It’d be great if you also have:

 

  • Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction and repair work
