Benefits Advisor

Do you have experience in employee benefits and want to make a real impact? We’re looking for a Benefits Advisor to join our award-winning team within our central function in Northampton.

This role plays a key part in delivering and continuously improving our employee benefits offering. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, build strong relationships with suppliers, manage communications, and drive engagement initiatives that bring our GXO benefits to life! You’ll also monitor SLAs, analyse spend, and ensure our MyBenefits brand is consistent and engaging for colleagues across the business.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday. We offer hybrid working and flexibility in hours.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, private medical & dental insurance, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Oversee benefits administration undertaken by Central teams – managing SLA’s, addressing issues, assessing trends and ensuring our internal teams are kept up to date on changes
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers – escalate issues, monitor benefit usage and spend on both contractual and voluntary benefits including healthcare, cars, risk benefits, recognition suppliers and system providers.
  • Continue the great work we do on MyBenefits engagement and communication – designing and delivering campaigns for new and existing benefits including posters, emails, newsletters, events etc.

What you need to succeed at:

  • Proven experience in benefits or reward administration or HR operations, ideally within a medium to large organisation
  • Familiarity with benefits platforms and HR systems (e.g., Darwin, Success Factors)
  • Highly confident working with different stakeholders at all levels within our business
  • A confident problem-solver who can think creatively, challenge the norm, and suggest process improvements to make things run more efficiently.

We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
