Business Change Lead - 18 month FTC
Ready to Lead Change That Really Matters?
We’re looking for a dynamic Business Change Manager to take the helm of an exciting 18‑month fixed‑term finance transformation project. Based in Northampton with hybrid working, this is your chance to influence a global ERP replacement programme that will reshape how our business operates.
As our Change Lead, you’ll drive the Change Management workstream across a complex, global transformation—owning communication, training, and business readiness from end to end. You’ll be the connector across multiple workstreams, ensuring change activity is coordinated, clear, and delivered with impact. If you thrive on bringing people with you, orchestrating meaningful change, and helping organisations transition confidently into the future, this role is made for you.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £83,000, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company car or car allowance, a company sponsored pension scheme, private medical & dental insurance, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead all change management activity for the global GFS transformation, applying a structured methodology and integrating change deliverables into the overall project plan
- Own and manage business change plans across multiple countries and deployment phases, coordinating communication, training, and readiness activities while ensuring stakeholder alignment
- Track and report progress—monitoring milestones, risks and mitigations, providing weekly updates for each country, and confidently presenting plans and risks to senior stakeholders and steering committees
- Drive communication and training delivery, developing tailored country‑specific communication plans, defining training needs with the SI partner, and ensuring successful training execution
- Identify, document and embed change impacts, including Optimus-based TOM changes, ensuring processes and practices are adopted, user readiness is evaluated, and lessons learned are shared across deployment team
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience delivering Finance Transformation programmes with strong change leadership across diverse stakeholder groups, including large-scale, multi‑geography change programmes.
- Proven experience leading change for SaaS‑enabled transformations and ERP deployments, underpinned by strong knowledge of business change best practice; Change Management or related qualifications are beneficial.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to engage senior stakeholders and drive positive behavioural and organisational change.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver training material, supporting end‑users through transition while maintaining a positive, proactive mindset during periods of challenge.
- Flexibility to travel to Northampton, London, and international implementation sites as needed across the global project roadmap.
