Contract Manager

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Contract Manager to lead our The White Company contract based at our Northampton 3 operation. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Mon-Fri, 40 hours (flexibility requiered), where you'll take full responsibility for operational performance, customer satisfaction, financial delivery and people leadership across a high-profile fashion and retail contract.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for developing operational excellence while maintaining strong customer relationships and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the contract.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the overall operational performance of the contract, ensuring customer expectations, contractual KPIs, productivity targets and financial objectives are consistently achieved
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary operational contact while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and contract growth
- Provide leadership to a management team of Operations Managers and Shift Managers, developing talent, driving engagement and creating a high-performance culture across the contract
- Drive operational excellence through effective planning, resource management and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring costs, quality and productivity remain aligned with business objectives
- Maintain full accountability for contract financial performance, including cost control, budgeting, revenue opportunities and maximising operational efficiencies
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven senior management experience within a logistics, warehousing, fulfilment or supply chain environment
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contract performance and customer relationships within a service-led operation
- Demonstrable leadership experience managing large operational teams through periods of growth, change and continuous improvement
- Experience delivering successful operational and change management initiatives while maintaining customer service excellence
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and drive results at all levels
