Deputy First Line Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Deputy First Line Manager, to join us at our Daventry 535 site. You’ll play a key role in supporting the First Line Manager lead a dedicated team within our DC. Your mission? To ensure the smooth flow of products through the warehouse, meet KPIs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the NHS Supply Chain, helping deliver essential products that keep healthcare moving!

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 14:00 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £26,531 per annum plus 10% shift allowance and 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assist the First Line Manager in managing daily operations and team performance
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and SOPs
• Drive continuous improvement and identify areas for process enhancement
• Maintain focus on quality and efficiency to meet KPIs

• Previous experience within a fast-paced warehousing or supply chain environment
• Ability to work towards targets and deadlines
• Resilient under pressure and able to use your own initiative
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
