Could you see yourself influencing senior business decisions with your insights? Do you enjoy turning complex financial data into clear, meaningful stories? Are you looking for a central finance role with real visibility and impact?

This is a high-impact role within our Central (Head Office) FP&A function, where you’ll take ownership of the Central UK&I Profit & Loss. You’ll be at the heart of the business, driving budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth analysis, partnering with senior stakeholders, and helping shape critical business decisions. This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00 with a requirement to be in our Northampton head office 3 days per week. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience plus a car allowance to the value of £450 per calendar month and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Owning and managing Central (Head Office) P&L and SG&A reporting for the UK&I region, with a sharp focus on cost drivers and trends
  • Leading and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles across all central departments
  • Delivering clear and insightful month-end variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Partnering with stakeholders to analyse central cost levers and identify opportunities to optimise financial performance
  • Preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and corporate FP&A commentary to support informed decision-making

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven experience managing P&L accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a large or complex organisation
  • Strong business partnering skills with the confidence to influence senior finance and non-finance stakeholders
