HR Compliance Manager
Are you a detail-driven HR professional with a passion for employment law and process improvement? At GXO, we’re looking for a dynamic HR Compliance Manager to lead our compliance strategy, ensuring our policies, contracts, and practices are watertight and future-ready. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving meaningful, positive change across GXO in the UK & Ireland.
This role is on a full time, permanent basis at our Head Office in Northampton. We are offering hybrid working with a balance of days in the office as well as working from home.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000 and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the development and maintenance of HR policies, contracts, and compliance documentation across UK&I
- Oversee internal audits and ensure data integrity within SuccessFactors and other HR systems
- Manage a team of four Employee Compliance Specialists, supporting their growth and development
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, People Services, and HR Data Analytics to drive compliance excellence
- Provide expert guidance on Right to Work, DSARs, TUPE, and employment law, ensuring the business stays ahead of legislative changes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong operational HR experience with a deep understanding of employment law and policy development
- Exceptional attention to detail and a data-analytical mindset—accuracy is critical in this role
- Proven ability to identify discrepancies, solve problems, and implement process improvements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
- CIPD qualification is desirable, and experience in managing teams and driving change
