HR Compliance Team Lead

We’re looking for a People Compliance Team Lead to provide first-line leadership to our People Compliance Specialists, ensuring consistent, compliant and trusted people services across the UK & Ireland.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead, coach and support a team of People Compliance Specialists, managing workloads, priorities, performance and wellbeing
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of compliance activities, including DSARs, HR audits and employment document governance
  • Act as a key contributor to audit delivery, maintaining strong standards of document management and audit readiness
  • Produce and maintain high-quality compliance MI, using advanced Excel skills to analyse, cleanse and report data
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, Recruitment and wider People Services teams to deliver consistent, trusted compliance outcomes

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven management, supervisory or team leader experience within HR, compliance or a shared services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of DSAR processes, GDPR and confidentiality requirements
  • Microsoft Excel capability i.e., pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation etc
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to SLAs
  • A proactive, detail-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
