Inventory Manager

We are looking for an Inventory Manager to join us on a full-time permanent basis at our growing site in Daventry. You will ensure optimal stock levels, maintain accurate records, and streamline inventory processes to support efficient operations.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be working Monday – Friday working hours, some flexibility will be needed

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave plus bank holdiays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, ensuring stock levels meet demand while minimising overstock and shortages. 
  • Oversee the proper storage of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies to optimise space and accessibility. 
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations, reporting discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. 
  • Utilise inventory management systems (WMS) to track product movement, generate reports, and improve efficiency

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or HVAC industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
