MHE Trainer

We are looking for a full-time permanent MHE Trainer who can support, develop, and deliver all areas of training and development at our Northampton 3 site
Working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm, but flexibility will be needed.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Act as a role model and example setter to other driver operators and to fully comply with all legal and training procedures for the delivery of in-house training for novices and refresher training for existing and experienced driver operators.
- Ensure effective training and development of colleagues on all types of MHE equipment.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance for working with MHE in a pedestrian environment is adhered to at all times.
- To understand the mechanical requirements and capabilities of the equipment in use for training other members of staff, including all pre-operational checks and operator servicing requirements.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Excellent knowledge of safety aspects of MHE operation
- MHE operator – minimum 2 years
- Working as part of a team

- MHE observation and safety observations to GXO standards
