Oracle Test Manager - Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for an experienced Oracle Test Manager on a fixed-term contract basis to join GXO's Finance Transformation Programme. In this role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle across major business and technology change initiatives, ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest quality standards and are fully validated before go-live.
Working closely with Finance, IT, programme leadership, implementation partners and third-party suppliers, you'll lead testing strategy, governance and execution across multiple programme delivery waves, helping to ensure the successful delivery of critical transformation objectives.
This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity of ten months, working flexibly from London, Northampton or remotely, with occasional travel as required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and manage all Oracle testing activities across transformation programmes, including SIT, UAT, end-to-end, regression and data validation testing
- Develop and execute Oracle testing strategies, plans, schedules and governance frameworks, ensuring delivery to agreed quality standards and timelines
- Manage defect identification, triage and resolution activities, providing clear reporting on quality, risks, issues and deployment readiness
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, implementation partners and suppliers to ensure effective test planning and execution
- Drive testing best practice, business readiness, deployment support and continuous improvement across the programme lifecycle
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Extensive experience leading end-to-end testing delivery across large-scale business transformation or technology programmes
- Proven ability to develop Oracle test strategies, test plans and quality assurance frameworks in complex programme environments
- Strong knowledge of Oracle testing methodologies and software delivery lifecycles across Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery models
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
