Join us at GXO as a Pensions Administrator in Northampton, where you’ll play a key role in delivering top-tier pension services across the UK and Ireland. In this dynamic in-house position, you’ll be at the heart of our payroll processing cycles, handling transactional tasks and supporting our wider pensions team with essential admin duties.

This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, and we’re happy to discuss flexible working options to help you find the right balance.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 dependent on experience. In addition, we offer days 25 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Efficiently manage daily pension administration by processing joiners, contribution changes, opt-ins/outs, resolving provider data queries, uploading files to portals, and issuing auto-enrolment communications
  • Keep up-to-date with pension legislation and monitor regulatory changes and market developments in pension provision.  Training will be given
  • Support with projects to improve the effectiveness of the department’s service to the business 
  • Act as a key contact for colleague’s pension queries, HR teams and external advisers and providers ensuring queries are resolved comprehensively and accurately and within agreed timelines

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous Administration experience – ideally within a payroll/pension background
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong PC skills with good knowledge of creating and maintaining spreadsheets – you will need to use daily.
  • A good level of numeracy and IT literacy including strong excel skills
  • Enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent communicator – both written and verbal
