We are seeking a highly organized and innovative Proposal Content Manager to join our Bid Management team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a proposal-focused content library that improves proposal quality and drives productivity within the sales and bid team. You will define and optimise the structure, accessibility, and governance of our proposal content library, utilising digital tools where relevant to streamline the process.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £75,000, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Create and maintain a proposal-focused knowledge base to improve bid quality and efficiency.
  • Produce engaging content that describes GXO’s organisation, services, and capabilities across multiple functions for tender responses.
  • Create compelling case studies showcasing sector expertise and operational capability.
  • Define and optimise the content library structure, ensuring accessibility, integrity, and governance.
  • Maintain and update all content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Develop strong processes and digital tools for seamless management and maintenance of the knowledge library.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture and refresh technical, operational, and commercial information
  • Ability to dissect RFP responses to ensure content is transferred into the proposal content library
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing bid feedback and updating content accordingly

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially PowerPoint
  • Skilled in SharePoint and other knowledge management platforms, including site creation, structure, permissions, and document control
  • Strong understanding of content governance and digital knowledge systems.
  • Effective collaborator and communicator, with proven stakeholder engagement across functions
  • Detail-oriented and organised, committed to delivering high-quality, consistent information.
  • Strategic and curious thinker, comfortable working independently and driving innovation through AI, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Broad market knowledge of proposal automation, AI tools, and content management solutions
