Here at GXO, we are on the lookout for a talented Sales & Marketing Writer, to support our corporate team at our Head Office in Northampton (although we can be flexible on location/with the option to work remotely at times). As the Sales & Marketing Writer, you will be responsible for familiarising yourself with GXO’s services, customers, and products in order to develop engaging copy for sales and marketing materials.

 

You will be working Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:00 – 17:00, with some flexibility required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,100.00 (dependant on experience), and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support business development and sales by creating a variety of marketing materials delivered through multiple channels
  • Identify and articulate the specific value our Company offers for current and potential customers
  • Conduct internal and internet research to understand market and industry trends affecting target customers
  • Assist with the publication of documents, including the coordination of print vendors
  • Assist personnel by proofreading documents and providing editorial, formatting and branding guidance

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Copywriter or Editor in a professional environment, supporting a business development team or function
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
