QHSE Coordinator

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a QHSE Coordinator to join our team at our Toolstation site in Pineham, Northampton. You will be supporting the site’s operational team in ensuring site remains compliant with current Health and Safety legislation and company standards.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 09:00– 17:00, with some flexibility required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,675.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Work with the operational departments in the creation and reviewing of risk assessments and associated documents
  • Investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed timely
  • Compile data, statistics and reports as required
  • Support managers in the maintenance of the systems, and provide specialist advice, coaching and practical support
  • Act as a conduit between the regional QSHE representatives and the operation to ensure a consistent approach across all regions

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Good knowledge of logistics transport operational Health and Safety
  • IOSH Managing Safely certificate is essential  
  • Effective team working and networking skills, the ability to work independently, using own initiative
  • Competent user of IT systems. Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
