QHSE Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a QHSE Manager to join our team in Northampton, supporting our Sainsbury’s operations. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for the two sites same industrial estate, you will follow all regulations, monitoring and maintaining all SSOW, Risk Assessments and Welfare Assessments while growing the safety culture, striving to be a company that cares for the safety of our colleagues and customers.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £52,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Day to day managing and coordinator of QHSE across the sites while implement group policy in collaboration with the management teams
  • Internal and external auditing for the sites including BRC with any improvement plans required
  • Follow all HSE Regulations and guidance for employee’s welfare from working in a large freezer and chill units storage
  • Aiming for continued improvements through the PDCA activity

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Holder of a NEBOSH general certification is required
  • Previous experience or knowledge of Ammonia operations is desirable
  • Ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
