Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join our growing team at our Rockingham site in Corby. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, where you'll act as the lead HR presence on site, delivering a professional, commercially focused people service while supporting continued operational growth and new contract onboarding.
You'll work closely with managers across the business, providing expert HR guidance, leading employee relations activity and driving engagement, performance and compliance initiatives across the site.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Act as the site HR lead, providing expert advice and guidance on employment law, company policies and people-related best practice to support effective decision-making across the operation
- Coach, support and challenge managers on employee relations matters, performance management, absence management and organisational change, ensuring a consistent and commercially focused approach
- Lead recruitment, workforce planning and retention activities, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the site is equipped to meet current and future operational demands
- Produce and analyse HR metrics and management information, identifying trends, recommending actions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, managers and external partners, driving engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture while supporting site-wide projects and change programmes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor experience within a fast-paced operational, logistics, manufacturing or warehousing environment
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation, with the ability to apply legislation and policy in a practical and commercially balanced way
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases and coaching managers to improve capability and confidence in people management
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and challenge constructively at all levels
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, with strong analytical skills and experience producing meaningful HR reporting and insight
