Senior Solutions Design Manager

Here at GXO we are currently looking for an experienced warehouse-biased Solutions Designer to join our head office sales and solutions team in Northampton. Working within the Solutions Team and reporting to the Head of Warehouse Solutions, you’ll be accountable for creating, developing and presenting innovative, best in class warehouse solutions, which provide our customers with significant cost benefits & enhancements to service levels.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Provide thorough and experienced support in data analysis, warehouse design, proposal preparation and presentations.
• Work independently on warehouse design projects whilst supporting multiple projects, varying in scale and complexity
• Gather and analyse information from current and potential contracts in order to create a cost effective and operationally-sound solution that can be presented to the customer within time limits

What you need to succeed at GXO

• You’ll be experienced in designing and presenting warehousing solutions to customers
• Previous or current experience within 3PL is essential
• Highly autonomous, and experienced in responding to RFQs, data analysis in a highly customer-facing role
• You’ll be highly proficient in excel and Auto-CAD, ideally with exposure to warehouse design software
• Exposure and understanding of warehouse management systems would be beneficial
