System & Data Specialist

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a Systems & Data Specialist to join our new high‑volume retail operation in Northampton.

This is a full‑time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00. Flexibility will be required to support a 24/7 operation when needed, this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £39,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• First point of contact for digital partners and managers regarding any issues relating to inventory processes within the operations.
• Be a strong and experienced DLX, WMS/WCS User for all inventory functions, with the ability to transfer knowledge and experience to other colleagues.
• Escalate any issues within the Inventory Department to the Stock & System Manager
• Analyse warehouse management system data and be conversant with the reports available

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience working in a warehouse inventory systems‑focused role, ideally in a fast‑moving retail operation
• Strong understanding of processes and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and trends
• Confident communicator who can build relationships across internal teams and customer stakeholders
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
