Team Manager

We’re recruiting for a Team Manager for our key customer, in Northampton.  Our site is a dedicated repair and refurbishment centre for John Lewis household electrical products. Customer returns are received, carefully assessed, and refurbished to the highest standards, ensuring products are safe, functional, and ready for resale.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role, working hours of Sunday 9am to 5pm & Monday to Thursday 3pm to 11pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,120 per annum and 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays. Your benefits package includes , a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme. 

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Managing workflow, allocating tasks, and ensuring that production targets and service level agreements are achieved.
  • Leading and supporting a diverse team of technicians, operatives, and support staff, providing coaching, motivation, and guidance to help them perform at their best.
  • Upholding the highest repair and refurbishment standards, ensuring all products are fully compliant with safety, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Promoting a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in motivating and leading teams within a repair centre, warehousing or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge and practice of health and safety principles
  • Team Performance, site KPI’s and ability to maintain site standards
  • Experience in electrical product repair would be an advantage
