Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for a full-time Transport Administrator to join our team in Northampton on a fixed term 6 months contract, working in partnership with our customer B&Q.

 

You will be working from Sunday to Thursday and your working hours will be 08:30 16:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Support the Administration Manager, along with the Operations Management team in the daily management of the B&Q Store to Home project
  • Ensure weekly KPIs, payroll is completed accurately and on time, supporting other Administrators where necessary
  • Create and manage the weekly rotas for Drivers and Drivers Mates, including booking agency personnel and manage absences, and daily changes in the shifts plan
  • Daily management of the agency register and its issues tracker

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office programs and highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised, efficient, adaptable, and able to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude with a desire to continually strive for improvement
