Our specialist team continues to grow, and we are looking for a full-time Transport Compliance Coordinator to join our Northampton team at Wickes. You will be working 40 hours a week, Monday 06:00 to 14:00 and Tuesday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Oversee timely vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs to keep the Wickes fleet compliant and fully operational, ensuring all activity meets KPIs, service agreements, and transport legislation
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date compliance records and promptly escalate issues while adhering to all company and client procedures
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external maintenance partners, supporting continuous improvement and a high‑performance team culture, including assisting new starters
- Take personal responsibility for Health & Safety, following all policies, identifying hazards, raising concerns, and supporting environmental and waste‑reduction initiatives
- Deliver all compliance tasks to required productivity, accuracy, and attendance standards, meeting customer expectations and contractual obligations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in transport administration is essential
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a fast‑paced or high‑volume environment
- Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office/Google applications
- A keen eye for detail and a “right first time” mindset
- Energy, resilience, and a personable approach
- Knowledge of transport legislation (advantageous but not essential)
