Warehouse Administration Manager

As our Warehouse Administration Manager, you will work closely with our Stock & Systems Manager, for our Home Delivery Network, based in Brackmills - Northampton. Leading our team of up to 28 colleagues, this is a mixture of Line Managers and Admin colleagues, to deliver efficient, compliant and high‑quality administrative operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll drive productivity, engagement and continuous improvement whilst ensuring stock accuracy, audit integrity and legal compliance.

This is a full time, permanent position with contracted hours of 40 per week. Core hours, Monday to Friday between 8.00 am to 5.00pm (with flexibility for business needs due to operating across 3 shifts).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead and develop a team of Line Managers and Administrators across two warehouses, driving engagement, performance, attendance, training and continuous improvement
  • Manage administration operations and stock returns, ensuring system accuracy, audit trails, quality standards and legal compliance
  • Plan and control weekly labour and workload demands, proactively identifying risks and improving administrative efficiency and productivity
  • Partner with senior leadership to set, measure and deliver operational targets, taking corrective action and supporting business priorities
  • Champion Health & Safety, people processes and compliance, leading investigations, disciplinary processes, and fostering a culture of open communication and lean thinking

  • Proven admin team wrangler — you’ve successfully led Administration teams and know how to keep things running smoothly in a busy operation
  • A brilliant communicator who can switch from shop‑floor chats to senior‑level conversations without missing a beat
  • A natural leader who leads from the front, takes ownership, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed
  • Tech‑savvy and confident using Google and Microsoft tools
  • Health & Safety smart, with hands‑on experience keeping warehouse environments safe, compliant and audit‑ready
