Warehouse Line Manager

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team on our Wickes contract at our Northampton site, you’ll play a key role in driving operational performance - leading teams, managing workflow and ensuring safety, quality and service standards are met every day. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader looking to join a global logistics business, where pace, people and performance go hand in hand. You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality operational performance. This role oversees frontline teams, manages workflow and maintains compliance with all operational standards, Health & Safety requirements and service-level expectations.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday 14:00 – 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,181.42 per annum with 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Managing a team of operatives within a functional area (Goods In, Pick, Dispatch) to achieve daily targets
- Coaching and developing new and existing team members to ensure sufficient skill coverage within the area
- Challenging under performance and working alongside the Supervisory team to address issues within the team
- Troubleshooting & investigation of errors and anomalies within the designated area
- Contribution to the continuous improvement of operational processes and practices
