Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Grange Park, Northampton (NN4 5EL)

This will be a 3-month fixed term contract starting in November to help during our peak period. 

We have the following shifts available: -

4on4off / 06:00-18:00 or 10:00-22:00 (40.15 hours average per week)

Fri-Mon / 06:00-16:00, 08:00 -18:00, 10:00-20:00 (40 hours per week)

PART TIME / Fri-Sat, Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon - 06:00-16:00, 08:00-18:00 and 10:00-20:00 (20 hours per week)

What you will do on a typical day:

• Ensure a steady flow of goods throughout all areas of the warehouse
• Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as picking packing, inbound, outbound and stock control
• Use warehouse management systems on a day-to-day basis
• Adhere to GXO health and safety policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A fantastic attitude with the desire to learn and develop your skills and experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Warehouse experience would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided
• A safety-focused, detail-oriented and conscientious approach to your work
