Warehouse Planner

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Planner to join our team in Northampton, supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s. As a Warehouse Planner, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of warehouse planning, to aid the operation in maximising operational efficiency.

 

This is a full time, permanent positions, working a 2 week rota of 06:00 to 14:00 and 08:00 to 16:00. Monday to Friday and then Sunday to Thursday.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Liaise with team managers and colleagues to act as a point of contact between them and the planning manager, supporting where possible to escalate more complex queries when necessary
  • Responsible for the production, processing, assembly and distribution of various paperwork related to the operation plans in a timely manager
  • Manage shift patterns and rotas and support the allocation of core and or agency recourse
  • Build and review plans and highlight any risk while ensuring these are resolved in a timely manner

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in a tri temp environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to organise, plan and take ownership for your tasks and ask for support when necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office is essential and Power Bi would be desirable
  • Analyst, present and share data to peers and stakeholders
