Here at GXO, we are on the search for a Team Leader to join our team in Nottingham on our Virgin Media Contract.

 

This role would suit someone who has a strong leadership background either within a warehouse setting or other industries such as retail.

 

You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 07:00 – 16:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Daily supervision of a team of operatives and agency staff in the department
  • Ensure all the staff are involved in the success of the operation through continual feedback and positive communication
  • Prioritise warehouse duties to ensure that the productivity levels and deadlines are achieved
  • To ensure that the areas of operational responsibility run in line with plans and are completed on schedule to the standards required by the company and the customer

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Team Leader experience in a fast-moving environment
  • A Full UK driving license, as you will need to drive a work van on occasions
  • Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
