We are looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join us at our Oldham site. You’ll help support all thing’s health and safety, quality and environmental at site and help push our road to zero campaign.

 

We’re looking for someone who is keen to develop within Health & Safety or already has experience within this field. 

 

This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £22,893 per annum. In addition, we offer 21 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • To support the sites compliance with current UK legislation and UK HSEF policy/strategy in the effective day-to-day management of QSHE at site level.
  • Support the local site teams in the co-ordination of QSHE activities
  • Provide statistics and performance information to management teams.
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork for induction and colleagues’ files are up-to-date and highlight
  • To co-ordinate the Depot Health & Safety training programme.
  • Monitor, track and support action closure of QSHE actions.
  • Update all QSHE administration within the Site.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Will hold or be prepared to study towards the following qualifications: IOSH Managing Safety.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of adapting to and facilitating change.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
