1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of important administrative tasks. You’ll also provide solutions for customer issues. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Process paperwork for potential contract carriers; perform billing and data entry tasks for multiple locations
  • Communicate with customers to advise them on shipment delays and/or other information necessary to complete orders; process changes and/or cancellations to delivery orders
  • Assist with monitoring the progress of delivery routes throughout the U.S. and Canada; track returned products and short shipments
  • Support the dispatch of contract carriers operating 6-7 days per week, including entering orders, editing, routing, scheduling, managing changes and updating all systems properly
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Prepare billing, invoicing and settlements in a timely and accurate manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, including handling a high volume of phone calls, technical problems and changes in departmental priorities or procedures
  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
