We are recruiting for a Business Support Manager to join our new site in the Amsterdam area, Oude Meer, supporting a leading technology customer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this diverse role sits at the crossover between logistics and production.

You'll lead by example, support your team to succeed, and contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and high-performing workplace.

How you'll make an impact
- Provide operational and client support to help the site perform at the highest level of effectiveness
- Lead a direct team of 4, plus 2 indirect reports, across Facilities, Customer Service, Key User support and Site Engineering, while working closely with HR, Safety and Operations on systems and processes
- Take responsibility for reporting and controlling departmental KPIs, analysing performance, identifying root causes for variances and closing gaps
- Maintain a clear focus on continuous improvement, incorporating best practice and process enhancements
- Make day-to-day operational decisions in partnership with the Operations Manager
What you'll bring to GXO
- A bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant area, such as logistics, production or engineering, or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a comparable operational organisation
- Strong operational and analytical skills, with the ability to report on data when required
- Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement, with examples of initiatives and improvements, particularly in change management
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work, with excellent attention to detail and a professional, critical mindset
- A self-driven, results-oriented and proactive approach to work
- Strong systems expertise, including experience using multiple systems such as WMS platforms and Excel
- Fluency in English; Dutch language skills would be beneficial
