Bid Manager

Ready to take the lead on high‑stakes bids that shape the future of industries—from healthcare to aerospace & defence, manufacturing, automotive, and beyond?

We’re searching for an exceptional Bid Manager who can thrive at the forefront of business growth. If you know how to craft winning proposals and bring clarity, strategy, and drive to every tender, we want you on our team.

Working across a range of developing sectors—and with bonus points for logistics experience—you’ll play a pivotal role in securing major opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Bid Management, you’ll own the full bid lifecycle: shaping strategy, managing stakeholders, and delivering persuasive, compliant submissions that stand out in competitive markets.

Flexibility, resilience, and a love for fast-paced challenges are essential. Travel may be required to collaborate with colleagues or support critical bid activity.

If you’re ready to make every bid count and leave your mark on our growth story, this is your moment.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £75,000, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company car or car allowance, a company sponsored pension scheme, private medical & dental insurance, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programme. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead End-to-End Bid Management: Oversee the full bid lifecycle from planning to submission, ensuring timelines are realistic and achieved
  • Develop Winning Proposals: Create persuasive, customer-focused responses and presentations that clearly communicate value propositions
  • Drive Win Strategies: Collaborate with Sales and stakeholders to define and embed win themes, supported by market and competitor insights
  • Engage and Coordinate Teams: Manage virtual bid teams across multiple functions, gathering accurate input from subject matter experts
  • Ensure Compliance and Governance: Maintain adherence to internal processes, risk management, and customer specifications throughout the bid
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-bid reviews, update the bid library with reusable content, and implement lessons learned to enhance future success
