GXO are currently looking for a Planning Analyst to join the Mountain Warehouse operation in Peterborough, where you’ll support the planning and training function in providing effective short and long-term planning of staffing, volumes, and peak recruitment across the whole site.

 

This is a full time, permanent role. You’ll work Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • You’ll deliver proactive support in maintaining the supply and delivery of planning to the site, by understanding the key variables that impact the site and providing visual information and reports to highlight these for the senior team
  • Work closely with the Planning Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all planning, and contributing to the team achieving and exceeding KPI target expectations with regards to resource planning
  • Facilitate timely communications with the agency regarding operational requirements, recruitment, and training plans
  • Oversee the quality of operational input into various planning and reporting tools such as rotas, timesheets, and reports

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in demand, capacity, and resource planning, preferably in third party logistics or a similar retail operations environment 
  • Confident communication skills as you’ll be liaising with multiple functions across the business
  • You’ll need to work well on your own initiative, taking responsibility for processes and your workload
  • Managing change and changing priorities will not phase you – this is logistics after all!
