Class 2/7.5T Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2/7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our professional team in Portbury 

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, contracted 5 out of 7 days, working Monday to Friday, with the start time window between 05:00 and 06:30 you will be responsible for delivering bathroom products to warehouses and showrooms.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate Class 2 or /7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Deliver bathroom products to designated warehouses and showrooms ensuring all items are handled correctly. Some hand balling involved
• Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 or 7.5T entitlement

• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
