We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us at our M&S site in Bradford to deliver an accurate, efficient, and compliant end to end payroll experience for our colleagues. Working Monday – Friday, on a full time permanent basis, you’ll provide timely, effective, and comprehensive support to line managers on all aspects of Payroll.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Work closely with the payroll manager to ensure the smooth operation of all payroll related activity and Manage the end to end payroll process in a timely and accurate manner 
  • You’ll be responsible for the update of daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
  • You’ll be responsible for payroll management, highlighting any exceptions to the department responsible.
  • Ensure any outstanding information is followed up and updated in the system.
  • Support with the provision of responses to pay queries, in conjunction with the HR Team.
  • Provide support with the update and maintenance of the T&A system as required.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in a fast-paced operation
  • Experience in time and attendance systems – crown user experience desirable
  • Understanding of all legislative compliance.
  • Payroll management experience is desirable but not essential.
