Transport Administrator

Are you ready to take the next step in your Costa journey? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team in a dual-role as Transport & Stock Administrator, based at our Purfleet warehouse.

 

In this dynamic and varied position, you'll play a key role in supporting both the Transport and Warehouse operations. You'll ensure our delivery schedules run smoothly while keeping stock data accurate and up to date — helping us get great coffee to our customers on time, every time.

 

You will be working a minimum of 40.25 hours per week, on an ‘any 4 from 8’ shift pattern covering night shift, this role is perfect for those who thrive in the late hours.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Ensuring that all staff members are properly debriefed and that all paperwork is compliant  
  • Monitoring tachographs following legal requirements
  • Handling day-to-day queries from drivers, customers and other internal departments
  • Maintain accurate stock records within the WMS
  • Support stock counts, reconciliations, and audits
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and escalate where needed
  • Communicate clearly with warehouse teams to maintain stock integrity

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous admin experience in a warehouse or transport environment (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and team player mentality
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced logistics setting
