Here at GXO, we’re working together with Solvay and looking for a Customer Administrator to join our team in Reading. You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 to 17:00.

As a Customer Administrator, you’ll receive:

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Collate all of the pick/pack documents required for all Solvay orders and ensure all shipments are confirmed as picked and shipped on SAP in real time
  • Complete dangerous goods notes (DGN’s) and certificates of conformity prior to despatch where required
  • Liaise with KN Overland, KN Sea Freight, KN Air Freight and key Solvay stakeholders as required
  • Manage the Solvay Administrator email account ensuring customer queries and general correspondence are dealt with in timely manner

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in administrative function within logistics essential
  • Experience handling air freight and dangerous goods (IATA, ADR, IMDG) preferable
  • Excellent IT skills including MS 365 apps such as Excell
  • Knowledge and experience working with SAP system advantageous
  • Customer focused approach and excellent attention to detail
