About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact Director of Learning, Development & Culture to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent and capability programs across the Americas and Asia Pacific.
This role goes beyond traditional L&D—it is a program-driven leadership position responsible for building scalable talent pipelines, strengthening site-level leadership capability, and embedding a culture of learning aligned to operational growth.
Reporting to Head of Talent & Learning & Culture, this leader will operate at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, Operations, and HR, with a strong emphasis on program management, talent pipelining, and field execution.
Highly prefer candidates to be based in North Carolina or South Carolina located near a major airport with 50% travel.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Focus)
Program Management (Core of the Role)
- Own and operate a portfolio of enterprise talent programs with clear governance, milestones, KPIs, and executive reporting
- Build and manage end-to-end program structures including:
- Graduate & Early Career Programs
- Internship Programs
- Military & Veteran Hiring Programs
- Site Leader Development Programs
- Field Learning & Facilitator Networks
- Establish program charters, intake processes, and prioritization frameworks
- Drive weekly and monthly operating rhythms (dashboards, cadence calls, executive updates)
- Ensure consistent execution across regions and sites with clear accountability models
Learning Design & Facilitation
- Oversee development and deployment of enterprise learning programs across leadership and frontline populations
- Act as an executive-level facilitator for:
- Leadership development programs
- Team effectiveness and culture sessions
- Build and manage a network of field-based facilitators/trainers
Site Leadership & Culture Enablement
- Design and implement site leader capability programs tied to operational performance and engagement
- Partner with operations leaders to embed:
- Leadership expectations
- Culture standards
- Talent development practices at the site level
- Drive culture initiatives through learning, leadership behaviors, and structured programs (not just messaging)
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the annual learning and talent development roadmap
- Align programs to:
- Workforce planning
- Business growth priorities
- Critical capability gaps
- Lead needs analysis and prioritization across functions and regions
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and manage program dashboards and success metrics, including:
- Pipeline conversion rates
- Program participation and completion
- Leadership readiness and bench strength
- Retention and internal mobility
- Provide executive-level updates with clear insights and recommendations
- Continuously improve programs based on data and business outcomes
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a small high-performing L&D and program management team
- Drive a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement
What You Need to Succeed
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience across learning, talent, or program management
- Proven experience building and scaling structured talent programs (early career, leadership, pipelines)
- Demonstrated success in program management execution (not just strategy). Hands on leader who can design, develop, and deliver impactful results.
- Experience supporting high-volume, operational environments
- Strong facilitation and executive presence
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into action
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
