As the Lead Project Manager, Human Resources you will lead the end-to-end implementation of HR systems, recruitment strategies, and operational processes for new and expanding Data Centers. This role is responsible for ensuring that HR infrastructure and staffing levels scale seamlessly to meet specific client Data Center demands while maintaining strict compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Key deliverables include the execution of comprehensive project and staffing plans, the management of cross-functional change management strategies, and the delivery of optimized HR workflows that minimize disruption to supply chain operations.
This role is remote-based, it supports the operations of new and expanding Data Center sites for a high-demand client environment within the Cloud Logistics Warehouse and Data Center requiring the Lead Project Manager to travel as needed to manage site-specific staffing plans and HR system integrations. The role ensures that each location—regardless of its specific square footage or headcount—maintains seamless HR functionality and policy alignment during critical new construction or expansion phases.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, staffing plans, and budgets for HR implementations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Plan and support joint planning sessions with cross-functional GXO and Data Center resources teams.
- Act as the primary HR contact for new and expanding Data Centers for internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Implementations PMO, HR, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of HR systems and processes.
- Facilitate communication between clients, project teams, and senior management to provide updates on project status and address any issues.
- Effectively escalate project issues to stakeholders clearly and concisely to drive needed decisions.
- Lead the implementation of HR systems, tools, recruitment, and overall general HR processes for all new or expanding Data Centers.
- Ensure all HR initiatives comply with GXO and Data Center for client policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during HR implementations.
- Communicate changes effectively to all levels of the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to supply chain operations.
- Provide support and resources to employees to help them adapt to new processes and technologies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance HR operations within the supply chain.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in HR and supply chain management
- Prepare and present regular reports on project performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management, preferably within HR or supply chain environments.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex HR implementations and/or projects.
